Services are catered to you and/or your child to support communication development relating to speech, language, social engagement and any specific disability.
Clients can be any age. Assessment and therapy services are are personalised to provide high quality, best practise services to all our clients including complex needs clients and people on the Autism Spectrum (ASD Level 1-3).
Here, the aim is to cooperatively assess & maximise clients’ communication abilities using a Sensory Informed communication approach in therapy to effectively achieve our clients’ learning goals. This approach understands that a calm, regulated body is necessary for optimised learning and communication.
We prioritise developmental progress & functional home/community participation outcomes using a supportive ALLies Learning Framework. All communication partners are encouraged and supported to learn new ways to progress language learning and functional communication success for the client. This includes as much as possible, prioritising the the time and effort to link and cooperatively work within a multidisciplinary model with other allied health providers involved in the care of clients.

Karina Korsinczky is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with 25 years experience working in the Brisbane area.
Karina has worked in private practice for more than 20 years and previously for Disability Services Queensland and Education Queensland. As a private practitioner, she delivers clinic based services in Woolloongabba, and in home, school, daycare, community program visits as required.
Karina is passionate about working with children of all ages. She provides engaging, fun therapy, clear feedback and support with a warm, caring approach. She delivers interesting and engaging therapy using an individualised multi-sensory approach.
Karina has particular interest in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and people with Complex Communication Needs (CCN). She is very invested in supporting people to gain their voice through Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems by providing assessment and support to use them optimally at home and in the community.
She uses a Sensory Informed approach within the therapy setting and supports clients and families to understand and adopt a broader sensory integration approach to optimise communication and engagement beyond the therapy room.

Registered Medicare Provider and provide support to people with a chronic medical condition and complex communication needs relating to a disability or complex care needs.

Allied Learning Place clinic is growing – we can’t wait to introduce our new staff member
The clinic has recently moved. We now have a convenient, completely modern, renovated premises. The therapy room is large enough for active games while providing places for calm and relaxation. We pride ourselves on providing a warm, welcoming environment where clients and their ‘allies’ feel relaxed and revived.

Our office is located on the 1st floor. Mobile visits are available if access via stairs limits your attendance in any way. Unfortunately, we are NO longer wheelchair accessible.
Coffee/tea/cold drink is available upon request.
